Two further pages:

The other hahe glyph (Yc3-7) is number 23 in calendar II:

Yc1-1 Yc1-2 Yc1-3
Yc1-4 Yc1-5 Yc1-6 Yc1-7
Yc1-8 Yc1-9 Yc1-10
Yc2-1 Yc2-2 (12)
Yc2-3 Yc2-4 Yc2-5 Yc2-6 Yc3-1 Yc3-2 (18)
Yc3-3 Yc3-4 (20) Yc3-5 Yc3-6 Yc3-7 Yc3-8 (24)

Also hahe in Yc3-7 is evidently located in the season when one year must be 'cleaned away'. 23 is 1 less than 24 and the position is therefore quite similar:

calendar I
Ya1-1 (7) Ya1-2 Ya1-3 Ya1-4 (10)
calendar II
Yc3-5 (21) Yc3-6 Yc3-7 Yc3-8 (24)

If we arrange calendar I to begin with Yb3-1, then the distance from hahe in Ya1-3 to hahe in Yc3-7 will be (42 - 9) + 23 = 56. Counted the other way (from hahe in Yc3-7 to hahe in Ya1-3) the distance will be 84 - 56 = 28, and we can perceive 84 as 3 * 28 (= 6 * 14).

55 19 8
Ya1-3 (1) Yc3-7 (57)
56 = 8 * 7 28 = 4 * 7
84 = 12 * 7

These two hahe glyphs here emerge as signs which mark beginning.

The numbers 21, 42, 84, 56, and 28 suggest weeks (3, 6, 12, 8, respectively 4):

I II III
Ya Yb Sum Yc Yd Sum Ye Yf Sum
6 7 13 10 8 18 4 4 8
8 8 16 6 - 6 6 4 10
7 6 13 16 8 24 10 8 18
21 21 42 42 + 24 + 18 = 84
55 19 8
Ya1-3 (1) Yc3-7 (57)
56 = 8 * 7 28 = 4 * 7
84 = 12 * 7

8 'weeks' for 56 glyphs from hahe in Ya1-3 implies the possibility of 1 glyph representing 5 days (because 56 * 5 = 280). And 4 'weeks' will then be 140 days.

A division of 84 into 3 segments of time leads to:

27 27 27
Ya1-3 (1) Yb2-3 (29) Yc3-7 (57)
28 28 28
84 = 3 * 28

Where does this pattern place the two vaha kai glyphs? They apparently subdivide the flow of glyphs into 36 + 42 + 6:

27 6 20 20 6
Ya1-3 (1) Yb2-3 (29) Yc1-3 (36) Yc3-7 (57) Yb3-2 (78)
36 42

84 = 14 * 6 and 5 * 78 = 390.

And then we return to the regular flow of pages:

The excursion into the labyrinths of Y leads us to a tentative conclusion:

27 6 20 20 6
Ya1-3 (1) Yb2-3 (29) Yc1-3 (36) Yc3-7 (57) Yb3-2 (78)
56 28
84 = 4 * 14

We can keep the guess of a reversed vaha kai meaning 'birth', given that we assume 'death' to arrive after 'birth':

Yb3-1 Yb3-2 Yb3-3 Yb3-4 Yb3-5 Yb3-6
'birth'
Ya1-1 Ya1-2 Ya1-3 Ya1-4 Ya1-5
'death'

If the Maya thought along similar lines, we can also guess that the 60 'barred' days at the beginning of their calendar refers to the time beyond 'birth' of the new sacred year, a time when the old agricultural year still lingers on:

1 Pop 2 Uo 3 Zip
3 * 20 = 60 days
