In the 22nd period, at the other end of the calendar (though still at the end of the old year), we have a real ('living') ragi:
22
Eb5-21 Eb5-22 Eb5-23 Eb5-24
23
Eb5-25 Eb5-26 Eb5-27 Eb5-28

These two periods have identical 'end-of-period' glyphs (Eb5-24 and Eb5-28) showing that the periods belong together. The 23 period connects to the last periods in the G and K calendars for the year, indicating the darkest time of the year.

Naturally, we now would like to compare the immediately preceding periods in the three calendars:

31
Ga7-5 Ga7-6 Ga7-7 Ga7-8 Ga7-9 Ga7-10
29
Kb4-10 Kb4-11 Kb4-12 Kb4-13 Kb4-14
22
Eb5-21 Eb5-22 Eb5-23 Eb5-24

The strange Eb5-21, with one hand as head and another at a more natural place, presumably means something similar to what we can see in Ga7-5 and Kb4-10 (where the 'hands' look like wings).

We have earlier, when discussing the end of the G and K calendars, noticed similarities between the 24th period of E and the glyphs immediately preceding the G and K calendars and we can now add period 22 in E:

0 4 + 3 + 3 = 10 fingers held high in all three calendars.
Ga2-24 Ga2-25 Ga2-26
0
Ka3-12 Ka3-13 Ka3-14
24
Eb6-1 Eb6-2 Eb6-3
22
Eb5-21 Eb5-22 Eb5-23 Eb5-24

Fingers mean fire, and at the bottom in Eb5-23 it is, therefore, maybe possible to read fire, ahi.

We must also point at the similarity between Eb5-23 and Ga7-19:

22
Eb5-21 Eb5-22 Eb5-23 Eb5-24
33

Kb4-19

Ga7-15 Ga7-16 Ga7-17
34
Ga7-18 Ga7-19 Ga7-20

The glyphs in K are badly damaged, but we should remember Kb4-19 (similar to parts from Ga7-15 and Ga7-20, glyphs which obviously belong together) - in which we have a unique 'reversed' henua ora.

Though the 5 flames in Eb5-23 (6 if ragi is counted) - contrary to the 4 flames in Ga7-19 (5 if the top part is counted) - indicate different statements.

Is Eb5-23 demonstrating the power of sun to lift up the sky? 23 and 19 are odd numbers, 19 probably referring to the death of the sun. Maybe 23, then, also is a final number, and Eb5-23 illustrates how from the smouldering remnants of old sun a sky roof is being furnished (furnaced) with stars?
