Another important finding is that GD22 with 'visible interior' never occurs in the lines Aa1--a6. They are seen only in lines Aa7--a8 and in the lines of side b.

It seems that the structure of Tahua (we are no longer surprised) has 6 lines for the solar year.

Line a7 is unique in having neither external nor internal parallels, thus marking the border between the solar year and the rest of the text.

Examining the end phase of line a6 we find that the external parallel sequence of glyphs referred to is Small Washington Tablet (R).

However, after having created the table above I have identified sequences of glyphs in lines Aa7--a8, which probably have external parallels (in R). The 'break' therefore may occur later than with line Aa7.

But we have seen already that Aa6-55 apparently marks some type of end:

... The turnover between variant 2 and 3 (of GD45) must be located between Aa6-41 and Aa7-19 and sure enough we there find the unique Aa6-55:

Aa6-55 is a compound between GD45 and GD88, that we can conclude from the parallel passage in Ra3-101 -- 106:

We recognize GD88 from the end of the X-period (presumably there denoting the end of the 2nd half year):

In Pa5-69 we can see the sign  ( , indicating the 2nd part of the year. Also Pa5-71 has the 'knee' pointing at right ...

It should be mentioned that in Hb11-50 (GD74 + GD88) with surrounding glyphs there may also be parallel glyphs connecting to the mentioned ones (in A and R):
