I have toyed with the idea
that the assumed central pillar is located centrally in
P, whereas it is in the beginning in H and Q. But
that idea cannot be correct if the idea of
'qualification glyphs' is correct. Both cannot be
correct, because the 'qualification glyphs' are
patterned in the same way in all three texts. As I like the idea of 'qualification glyphs' more than the idea of a relocated cental pillar in P, the last mentioned idea must go into the waste-basket. So then, is there a central pillar in the beginning of 1a in all three texts? No, not necessarily so. Another possibility is that there are five 'bacabs' and no central pillar. Five is not a bad number, because Venus describes a pentagram in the sky. However I think we could restart 1a even earlier, at Pb5-1 (a glyph with a viri-mark), because then we will have six 'bacabs' the number of the sun. There still will be a central pillar in the meaning that the first pillar will stand for winter solstice. Six will also agree with the number of the calendar for there are 6 periods in it, six months Matariki i nika and six i raro. And we will have to relocate the 'qualification glyphs' from after the pillars to in front of the pillars. This makes it necessary to redesign my table.
