Although evidence shows that the calendars note the events of nature
as observed in the signs in the sky, I believe that the calendars
also may contain information referring to the human sphere. As for
example when I suspect that the middle of the week (as seen in the
calendars of Large Santiago and Large St Petersburg) has a story
about the stranger king. The human sphere ought to be seen in this calendar of the year too. First of all I want to point out that light arrives together with new life. Presumably this implies that we will tend to mix these two phenomena, so it will be difficult to isolate them from each other again. Consequently it will seem natural to let the planting season be located at the time when new light arrives. And that will, as if by magic, work out quite well too. In a magic world things work out like that. With the arrival of new light the necessary water from the sky will also come and the nuts will grow. And as nature belongs to the gods, man must proceed with caution when planting and harvesting. |
