If we count with the lunar/week year containing 354 nights, then half a year is 182 nights = 26 weeks.

20 * 7 + 6 * 7 = 140 + 42 = 182. If this 42 is the same as the number of the Assessors of Truth in ancient Egypt, then the two groups (with 21 in each) correspond to the two quarters of half a year. 91 nights = 13 weeks = 10  * 7 + 3 * 7 = 70 + 21.

GD24 ought to show sun aspects. No holes there, but perhaps a reflection of the sun in the face of the full moon?

My experience is that I notice the face of the full moon when it is close to the horizon, then it looks extraordinary big. In the early morning when sun is on his way up in the east I can sometimes see a full moon in the west. Is that the reason why GD24 appears in e.g. Pa5-36?

If so, then the bottom part is in the west and the top part in the east. Which is logical because growth starts at the bottom. West is the direction for old skytravelers.

Anyhow, I believe that the 'Moon House' has a shape similar to the bottom part of GD24 and that there is some kind of related meaning in these two signs. And conjunctions can be seen as a kind of 'sex', a meeting between two 'persons'.

The horizon is a zone of contact between day and night, light and darkness, and the rosy character of the horizon illustrates this. Venus (Aphrodite) is always close to the horizon. That is one reason she looks so big. The ends of GD24 might well be bigger than the middle part because of this optic effect (cfr the 'canoe' of the moon in the Mamari moon calendar). Even if GD24 is used symbolically in other circumstances than the day, this optic boundary effect could be in the minds of the writers and readers.
