Consider these four 'periods' in the Keiti calendar of the year:

20
21
22
23

Evidently the 8 glyphs at the end (in 22-23) belong together. The sign in the form of feet having lost contact with henua is similar to the 'flow' with open end (in Hb6-16 and Ca7-1). I believe that we from this fact may assume the 'flow' to be equivalent to the 'leg of the sun'. The 'nick' in GD57 is then the 'knee' of the 'leg of the sun'.

The 1st glyph in 21 shows a 'circle' with viri at bottom, a sign of solstice. What else is viri but the 'knee' in the 'leg' (= path) of the sun? The period for this 'knee' is 5 nights as is shown in the next glyph. The 3rd glyph in 20 (ua) comes immediately after a hand, reappears in another form as head and hand in the 1st glyph of 22 and then again as the 3rd glyph in 23, together with 5 marks on henua. The form of ua is a variant of viri (as is the form of the wings of GD74 - exemplified in that 'bird 'holding on to' black henua).

There is much much more to talk about and comment regarding these crucial glyphs. We will return, time and time again. Of that I am certain.
