I have now created the item for GD31
in my glyph dictionary.
So back to the initial question: What does this glyph
mean? Possibly the right part is expressing that light is emanating from the
left part.
And the left part is somebody or something dead, I suppose. The whole sentence
is:
6 glyphs (sun) with new light in the middle?
Dividing the year by 3 gives 120 'nights'. Is the middle period the 4 months
around winter solstice? That period starts at about the 21st of November and
ends about the 21st of February (north of the equator). South of the equator it
will be from about 21st of May to 21st of August. And this period will arrive
one month after autumn equinox (irrespective of latitude). This idea fits with
Kb3-5.
