In the calendar of the year (G / K), just after autumn equinox, we find:

In period 24 the sitting figures are pregnant, not so in period 23. What are the peculiar signs on their backs? They cannot be signs of greenery. In K 23 we see a fishy tail, in K 24 the feet are cut off.

The henua in K 23 is open at the top, closed at bottom, and the henua in K 24 is open at both ends. In analogy with the signs in the calendar of the day this ought to mean that sun is now (K 23) so low as to make measurements difficult respectively (K 24) out of the question.
