H P Q Ga2-21

In all three texts all four ends of the 'cross' are closed. There are variants with one or more open ends, for instance in Keiti. Surely closed henua are different from open ones. We have in Ga2-21 an example with one closed henua and three open. Could this glyph mean that the first quarter is closed, finished? If that is the system, then the three above are positioned on the old year - all quarters closed.

We find some evidence in the 31st period of the calendar of the year in G / K. It looks like 'winter' (G) respectively the old year (K) are 'dying' (light hands hanging down). Cfr GD63.
