This glyph (Hb2-44) is a variant of GD62, the sitting shark. A shark, mago, might mean shadow and sitting might mean 'seating' (cfr GD52), together implying the 'seating' of a dark period. Moreover, we can identify the big open mouth of the shark as haga, that is seen from the parallel texts. We also note from the parallel texts that the Y-shape at the end of the 'arm' of the shark is equivalent to a hand directed outwards. Also that the bent elbow ornament in Q is equivalent to haga. No other sign of haga is seen in the Q-glyph.
