The arms are assymetric, presumably because the large elbow adornment was making it necessary to shorten the left arm. Why is such a long elbow adornment needed?

If the right side is male and the left female, it seems natural to have adornments on the left side. Also the left arm should be more flexible and pliant than the right arm.

The arm position, upwards with hand bent towards the head, certainly is some kind of sign. Is this the sign of greeting which was recorded from Cook's voyage?

I cannot find any more examples of this arm sign in Keiti. And even when I look for it in the texts of other tablets I can see that it is very rare. Therefore I believe it also means something special or unusual.
