This glyph is the first in the triad:

Ea7-8 Ea7-11 Ea7-14 (52)
te henua - te rima te henua - te rima te henua - te rima

Should we regard these thrice times three uprights as growing 'straws' emanating up from the ground? If so, then it is reasonable that Ea7-8 has shorter straws. On the other hand the part at bottom is longer. Is that a measure of how big the nut is? First being partly consumed by the growth above and then retuirning to life again, also filling up the indentation at the very bottom.

Could this in the beginning have been bamboo-shots? Quite possible.

The three hands are identical.
