I have not found any rongorongo text which runs parallel to the Moon calendar in Mamari. And I do not feel it necessary to here try to squeeze out more ideas from the Mamari text about the evolution of the moon than I have already done.

Instead I suggest that we, as our first next step forward studying the moon, look at how people on Hawaii regarded the moon cycle.
