I have now finished translating the day calendar in Tahua. As new ideas and facts have been documented there, I believe it necessary to include this translation here too.

And while translating this calendar I discovered that I had made a mistake:

The word tere (= sail away etc) I mistakenly had thought that Metoro had used at this glyph (Aa1-18):

But what he had said, at least according to Jaussen (and Barthel), was ma te tagata e hetu noho i te here, i.e. here instead of tere. My mistake is located here (though it is repeated on other later pages too).

I will not change this tere into here in those places where it is wrongly written, because such action would threaten to ruin the whole structure which I have tried to build. Hopefully there will not be too many mistakes of this kind.

The mistake is important from quite another point of view, however, and I need to write separately about that.
