The 'female' is hiding her breasts. In fact, the strange gesture with crossed arms in front has caught the attention of Lindqvist. I think the main meaning is 'female' = 'hiding, closed up, inside'. The dark hair is also a sign of that. Possibly, too, GD47 is a type of glyph with similar meaning. Night, darkness, hair, hiding, 'death'. Inside → dark. Outside → light. The sacred lamp (qulliq) is inside.
