We have these 'shark-like' glyph types to consider as possible equivalents to Draco/Dorado:
If we think of Taweret as a 'personification' of Draco we should exclude GD26 because there seems to be no 'straight' (standing up) variant. I also have a different idea about the possible meaning of GD26 (which will be discussed on next page). That idea tolerates the variants of GD26 with 'hands' and 'feet', even making them more understandable. The rest (GD62, GD27, GD113, GD61) do not seem to have variants with 'hands' and 'feet'. Dragons, hippos, golden mackerels and so on have neither hands nor feet. |
