And then while documenting these things I cannot put everything down anyhow. I must let go somewhere. Instead there will be loose ends and hints. E.g. 'puree' (tu) which implies being squashed into a soup-like consistence and then purified by passing through a sieve. A sieve is a kind of net and purify sounds like being baptized.

At the end of the year there are extraordinary events. Myths all over the world agree on that. There are sacrifices, there are houses burnt, there are nets and new fires being lighted.

There is a mountain on top of which these events take place, a mountain with a watery hole in it. A mountain with a spiral path leading up to its top, as if a spider had made it. And this mountain is in the middle of the earth, being like a navel.

There is a post on top of this whirling moutain, an immovable post ideal for fastening a ship to. This post - I guess - could be potu (as in Vaitu potu).
