GD45

The simple GD45 glyph type has several variants, presumably containing different signs. In e.g. Tahua we find at least these five:

Aa1-49 Aa1-50 Aa1-51 Aa3-74
Aa5-46 Aa5-54 Aa5-57 Aa5-64
Aa7-19 Aa7-26 Aa7-36 Aa7-48
Ab2-31 Ab2-51 Ab2-68 Ab3-3
Ab6-85 Ab7-13 Ab7-18 Ab7-20

Though extraordinary glyphs also appear, e.g. Aa1-12, Aa4-3, Aa7-72 and Ab1-10:

More variations are found in the combined glyphs, for instance in Aa3-51, Aa4-57, Ab8-82 and Aa5-20:

According to the principles described in GD44 no glyphs with possible allusions in form of wings, arms etc are listed as GD45.

A hyperlink leads from GD45 to GD73 because I have not included glyphs in GD45 which are listed as GD73, e.g. Ab8-47 and Aa3-6:

Aruku Kurenga (B)

Also here it is possible to distinguish variants, for example:

Ba1-4 Ba1-9 Ba1-29 Ba3-25
Ba6-18 Ba7-24 Ba7-25 Ba10-8

The first set of four glyphs looks similar to the fifth set of glyphs in Tahua.

Mamari (C)

We can find the same type also in Mamari:

Cb7-22 Cb8-4 Cb8-13 Cb8-15

GD45 combined with GD87 appears in several variants, e.g. Ca4-5, Ca11-30 and Cb10-16:

The twin glyphs Cb8-9--10 show that GD45 may be reversed:

Échancrée (D)

Db1-107 belongs to the 5th variant:

Keiti (E)

Eb3-27 is a combination between normal and reversed GD45. Ab3-65 and Ab4-9 are equivalent glyphs in Tahua:

Eb4-13 and Eb4-16 (arriving close afterwards) have 'feathers'

The rest of the texts

The texts above have been used as a kind of 'test ground' to see if the definitions could be used.

For the rest of the texts the same principles have been used, although less stringently. The experiences gained have been relied upon rather than what is written above about what characterizes the glyph type.

There may be a few extra glyph added, which would not have been so with a strict application of the written definitions. On the other hand there has been no attempt to ignore glyphs which according to the written definitions ought to belong to the glyph type.
