I have here not tried to consider the effects of precession from Allen's time to the time of my astronomy book. To reach the culmination dates of Allen it seems we have to add around 7½ months (15 lunar stations) to the dates of heliacal rising. There are 229 glyphs on side a of the G tablet and this fact tends to support the dates of Allen. |
