3. In Aa1-24 the description is not quite as drastic, but a head of Sun there is - 'growing' from the elbow of tagata:

The elbow is like a 'corner' of the arm, and the joints of the body were in rongorongo (and the myths) used to illustrate the 'corners' of time (in Aa1-24 presumably summer solstice).

Yes, there are small heads dangling from each of his elbows.
