This seems to be the last 5 days of March:
March 29 is evidently of special importance, in G perhaps drawn as Raaraa and in H possibly ending with the exceptional Hb12-5. The last line on the H tablet carries moko glyphs, 1½ of them in order to make us Count:
Evidently there is a jump (leap) where the first quarter of the Gregorian year is ending. 457 = 300 + 157 (= 314 / 2). The curve in front in Hb12-12 is an exceptional haś sign without any 'feathers'. It occurs also once on the Santiago Staff and once on the tablet Honolulu 3629 (T), otherwise not anywhere in the rongorongo texts.
Possibly April 1 refers to the beginning of autumn, when Sun no longer is present and no signs of him are visible - no maro feathers. 365 - 91 = 274 = the Gregorian day number for October 1. Counting on the Santiago Staff suggest the end of September: 13 * 126 = 1638 = 6 * 273. |
