Between Perseus and Auriga there could have been a division in time and in the glyph text this may have occurred in line Gb8:

  65

This precessional number of days corresponds to the time difference between 0h at the time of the Hyades Gate to 0h at the time of rongorongo. 71 * 65 = 1842 + 1 + 2772, i.e. the time when Hyades II was at 0h should have been around 2772 B.C. A nice number, a palindrom. Also: 27 * 72 = 24 * 81.

The fist held high in Gb6-25 probably means 'nothing as yet has been counted', i.e. a 'zero' day. From this zero day to the empty glyph position at the beginning of side a (also a zero day) there were 65 days.

... The practice of turning down the fingers, contrary to our practice, deserves notice, as perhaps explaining why sometimes savages are reported to be unable to count above four. The European holds up one finger, which he counts, the native counts those that are down and says 'four'. Two fingers held up, the native counting those that are down, calls 'three'; and so on until the white man, holding up five fingers, gives the native none turned down to count. The native is nunplussed, and the enquirer reports that savages can not count above four ...

MARCH 6 is day 65 counted from JANUARY 1 and then follows the remarkable position at heliacal Algenib Persei, where the glyph number is 229 from the beginning of side b and 229 + 229 = 458 counted from the first glyph on side a. 45 * 8 = 360 and 65 * 4 = 260.
