From the dawn of a year born towards the end of the winter solstice to the dawn of a year born at spring equinox there were around 75 precessional days:

4 strange figures close to the end of the halfyear (= 6 * 29½ days counted from the beginning of side b) have been designed without eyes - the eye being the perfect symbol for the quick movements of life.

Beyond the χ stars, in the constellations of the Earth Lion respectively the Water Serpent, the sky roof was descending. Beyond the ebb of high summer would eventually come the high tide of winter.

My calendar days according to the Gate of the Goat seem to agree with the glyphs. And the number of glyphs (calendar days) were in parallel with the heliacal days at the time of rongorongo - arriving 75 days later.

But when I once perceived the glyphs in my calendar table above were describing some kind of year I could not see any correlation between number of glyphs and number of days. In a way it was as if this calendar had been compressed:

... 'Now while I'm away,' he said, 'show some common sense and don't be impatient. Don't eat food until I come back, and whatever you do don't start cutting up the fish until I have found a priest and made an offering to the gods, and completed all the necessary rites. When I get back it will be all right to cut him up, and we'll share him out equally then. What we cannot take with us will keep until we come back for it.'

Maui then returned to their village. But as soon as his back was turned his brothers did the very things that he had told them not to. They began to eat food, which was a sacrilege because no portion had yet been offered to the gods. And they started to scale the fish and cut bits off it. When they did this, Maui had not yet reached the sacred place and the presence of the gods. Had he done so, all the male and female deities would have been appeased by the promise of portions of the fish, and Tangaroa would have been content. As it was they were angry, and they caused the fish of Maui to writhe and lash about like any other fish.

That is the reason why this land, Aotearoa, is now so rough and mountainous and much of it so unuseful to man. Had the brothers done as Maui told them it would have lain smooth and flat, an example to the world of what good land should be. But as soon as the sun rose above the horizon the writhing fish of Maui became solid underfoot, and could not be smoothed out again ...

123 (the number of glyphs in my perceived calendar) + 61 (July-August) = 184 could mean the pair of months added by Caesar had caused a disintegration of 61 days in some earlier calendar.

... The reform was adopted initially by the Catholic countries of Europe. Protestants and Eastern Orthodox countries continued to use the traditional Julian calendar and adopted the Gregorian reform after a time, for the sake of convenience in international trade. The last European country to adopt the reform was Greece, as late as 1923 ... Britain and the British Empire (including the eastern part of what is now the United States) adopted the Gregorian calendar in 1752, by which time it was necessary to correct by 11 days. Wednesday, 2 September 1752, was followed by Thursday, 14 September 1752. Claims that rioters demanded 'Give us our eleven days' grew out of a misinterpretation of a painting by William Hogarth:
