I have not much evidence from Metoro that this type of glyph should be understood as hakaua, but it is certainly not a tamaiti - there is no little bulb at bottom.

The Chorti diviners continued until the rains arrived. If haka-ua should be understood as 'making rain', then this could come at heliacal Alkes (α Crateris), because the Chinese associanted their 27th station with a Snake - the universally recognized symbol for a stream of water:
