Line a4 has 29 glyphs and Ca4-1 is number 77, possibly equivalent to Gregorian day 80 + 77 = 157 (= 314 / 2), i.e. June 6 (6-6):

Ca4-1 (77) Ca4-2 Ca4-3

In Ca4-2 we recognize a development of the 'head nut' in Ga1-26, 52 glyphs earlier.

Rau hei, moko, and ihe tau glyphs characterize next group with 9 (of course) glyphs:

Ca4-4 Ca4-5 Ca4-6 Ca4-7 (83) Ca4-8 Ca4-9
Ca4-10 Ca4-11 Ca4-12

(4 + 12) * 4 + 8 = 64 + 8 = 72. Hakaariki in Ca4-7 has no kai sign in front (as in Gb6-24) and the 3 men are standing still looking at us. Maybe their job is finished, maybe they have just assembled (piriga). The date could possibly be 80 + 83 = 163 = June 12, with the solstice not far ahead, at Ca4-16:

Ca4-13 Ca4-14 Ca4-15 Ca4-16 (92) Ca4-17 Ca4-18 Ca4-19
June 18 19 20 21 (172) 22 23 24
Ca4-20 Ca4-21 Ca4-22 Ca4-23 Ca4-24 (100) Ca4-25
June 25 26 (177) 27 28 29 (180) 30
Ca4-26 Ca4-27 Ca4-28 Ca4-29
July 1 2 3 4 (185)

42 * 9 = 378 (the synodic cycle of Saturn). The pair of tamaiti at the beginning of what apparently could be July have rhombs at bottom, not as in the earlier pair, where we possibly can count 2 * (36 * 2 + 18) = 180:

Ca2-16 (42) Ca2-17 Ca2-18 Ca2-19 Ca2-20
May 2 3 4 (124) 5 6

And we could in line a4 count 2 * (26 + 29) = 110, which could give 180 + 110 = 290. Gregorian day 181 + 110 = 291 = October 18. Alternatively we could count 4 * (26 + 29) = 220, which gives 180 + 220 = 400. With 392 glyphs on side a there are 300 which could refer to the time beyond June 21. 172 + 300 = 472. 472 - 365 = 107, the Gregorian day number for April 17. 107 - 80 = 27, and perhaps Ca2-1 defines the position of Gregorian day 472 (= 150 % * 314 + 1) - i.e. April 17 (because 107 = 472 - 365).
