There is thus strong evidence that Ana-roto (Spica) had a central role not only in the C text but also in the time structure based on the stars.

There are probably several additional counting miracles connected with Spica and we should at least take a quick look at glyph number 569 - 13 * 13 = 400, at the opposite side of the deluge:

In the midst of where no other listed star can be seen was the twinkling Mira (ο Ceti) at the neck of the Sea Beast:

It could have been imagined that the mane sometimes covered the star causing the change in its brightness, between 2.0 and 10.1 according to my astronomy book. The period of change was once measured as 333 days.
