According to the Babylonian view there was a very low point in the sky below the head of the Lion:
This point of reversal does not seem to coincide with any star of importance and instead it probably was the grid line for 10h (whatever the number of this RA hour was at that ancient time) which defined the day:
But the star π Leonis (150.6) could have been used as a mark for finding this RA line, where the head of the Lion was 'cut off'. The letter π could serve as a mnemonic for the 'exit portal' of Sun, from where he had to 'recycle'. Because on the other side of the invisible line, on the back side, it was the Moon Queen who ruled. South of the equator the view of the night sky is inverted - which some may have regarded as a sign that 'up' had to be in the south (as in ancient Egypt) - and this could explain the design of the Taranaki storehouse, where the child of Babylonian Ninmah would be at right and the lost head at left:
