1. The Mamari tablet has a form which is different from those so far studied and therefore its content should also be different (because form is a kind of Sign).

Its oval form is reflected in its name:

Mamari

Egg, fish roe. māmari ata rauhau, last small egg laid by a hen before she turns broody. Vanaga.

Egg (of fowl or fish), (gamamari), (Cf. komari.); mamari punua, chicken in the shell. Churchill.

In contrast the forms of the G and K tablets are more rectangular:

The Q and H tablets are slightly wavy, whereas the P tablet is straight but odd:

Q has straight short edges, suggesting they have been cut off. Perhaps this is a Sign that the text has been cut off at the end of the lines, cut off from the main stream as defined by H and P.

Similarly the odd shape of P suggest there is a missing part (which we know there is compared to the H text).
