It could be said the Sun now had reemerged through the open throat of Rahu. At midnight the leading star of the Wolf constellation (α Lupi, Yang Mun, South Gate) culminated:

According to a heliacal calendar this point of crossing the ecliptic will gradually be pushed later in the year. According to a star calendar, however, this was a stable point in time, with the Sun instead moving to earlier and earlier positions for his 0h:
