2. Considering first how the maro string is attatched to henua - a Sign in Ga3-5 and Ga3-9 - it could be intended to indicate an early phase of 'land', I guess. Ordinal number 9 suggests Jupiter, the oldest 'face' of Sun in contrast to his youngest 'face' (with small skull?) at number 5.

But if we should add 3 glyphs at the beginning (Ga2-27--29) then the ordinal numbers will be changed into 9 + 3 = 12 respectively into 5 + 3 = 8, and the 'birth-of-land' glyph Ga3-2 will be number 5:

side a side b
61 168 72 168
Ga3-2 (62) Gb3-12 Gb3-13 (304)

Ga2-27 (*1) Ga2-28 (59) Ga2-29 Ga3-1 (*4)
Ga3-2 (*5) Ga3-3 (63) Ga3-4 Ga3-5 (*8)

Manu kake ('the climbing bird' in Ga3-1) is a more adequate sign for the personality of Saturn (the creator of 'fire in the sky') than Mercury who is his opposite (the poor lad who is too feeble to govern the horses of Sun). Jupiter will now become the ruler of the 59th day on the front side of the text, i.e. the last day in the first synodic lunar double-month. If 'land' arrives with line a3, then 'the old generation' (Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus) ought to be at the end of line a2.

Earlier the 'descending fish' in Ga2-28 was coloured after Mars, but Jupiter is a much better choice. The right part is a haga rave sign with 4 feathers in front, and at the last day of the first double-month there should be a 'harbour of rest'. I think there is enough evidence for adding the last 3 glyphs of line a2 to the beginning of the first henua period and also to count from Rei in Ga2-27 when the ordinal numbers of the glyphs at the beginning of line a3 are to be determined.

The 2nd henua period ought then to be renumbered too, because of the way its growing maro string is attatched to henua:

2
Ga3-6 (*9) Ga3-7 Ga3-8 (68) Ga3-9 (*12)

The 'living spirit' (manu rere) will now be ruled by Saturn (at *11) instead of by Mercury (who hardly is capable of flying). Jupiter and Venus are a pair with promising fists raised up high in front (probably indicating twice 5 = 10) - perhaps a sign of the next generation in front - which fits much better than Moon and Mars having an affair together. Therefore I believe we may have unearthed a hidden 12-month calendar (by adding 3 glyphs - months - at the beginning of the 1st period):

Ga2-27 (*1) Ga2-28 (59) Ga2-29 Ga3-1 (*4)
Ga3-2 (*5) Ga3-3 Ga3-4 Ga3-5 (*8)
Ga3-6 (*9) Ga3-7 Ga3-8 (68) Ga3-9 (*12)

3 * 8 = 24(0) and 3 * 12 = 36(0), instead of 3 * 5 = 15(0) respectively 3 * 9 = 27(0). My rule of thumb says 240 / 360 is the right proportion (⅔) for the path of Sun.

There are only 24 glyphs in line a3, curiously few, but we now can guess why - 3 should be added from the end of line a2:

a1 30 30 b1 26 26
a2 29 59 b2 35 61
a3 24 83 b3 30 91
a4 27 110 b4 33 124
a5 30 140 b5 29 153
a6 29 169 b6 28 181
a7 34 203 b7 31 212
a8 26 229 b8 30 242
