3. Mac is presumably red as the meat of the red deer (Ceh) while Kankin is white (Sac) as his dry old bones, in which case a 'mirror in time' can be imagined between the 12th and 13th months:

Sac 12 Ceh Mac Kankin

Also, such a mirror is probably located between Yaxkin and Yax:

Yaxkin 8 Mol Ch'en Yax

The yax superfix in Yaxkin has a central little curve open in front, but the yax in Yax has its central curve open at the back. If Mol is a solstice month, then there should be a reversal between Yaxkin and Yax.

Gates (a.a., p. 94): "Difficulty is encountered with this glyph [ek, black], on account of its similarity of form with the month Mol, minus the surrounding dots ...".

There are no 'surrounding dots' in my Mol example. But such dots there normally were, and when enlarged in the more eloquent stone glyphs they are depicted like beads on a necklace:

8 Mol
'dots' 'beads'

There is a cycle with 13 'beads' on one of the stone Mol glyphs and on the other there are 22 (possibly expressing π * 7). The number of 'dots' is 19 + 8 = 27. This kind of surrounding dots (or beads) maybe are represented by 'feather marks' in rongorongo, e.g. 8 + 8 such in Ga7-7 (where 6 * 29.5 = 177):

Next reversal could come with Moan or maybe already between Mac and Kankin:

260

280

300

If 'land' stretches for 7 months, then it could begin with Yaxkin and end with Mac:

But 7 * 20 = 140 days is too short for summer. Instead, Rogo in Eb7-1 is rather to be understood to show how the season of winter solstice has disappeared. 10 * 20 = 200 days. And 63 * 5 = 315 or one more than 100π. Tangaroa is a kind of 'fish god' and u'a means high tide. Zip has a Chac superfix with 3 dots in a bowl and in Ceh there are 6 dots in a cap:

8 months
3 Zip (60) 12 Ceh

13 Mac (260)

10 * 20 = 200 days

The 'Red Deer' seems to have 9 * 20 = 180 days to live. But in the 10th month of summer ('land') he has become meat. 13 * 20 = 260.
