6. I
think
we
now
have
'proven'
that
a
major

in

ends
at
the

periods.
Moreover
by
adding
532

300
=
832
the
cycle
evidently
can
continue
much
further:

 |
2 * 266 = 532 = 472 + 60 |

Rauru is not a Moon son, but a Venus son, yet the position is similar. In the Mayan calendar the Venus Turtle of Kayab obviously signifies 'the biting of Sun' (Chikin, Manik-Kin) at the horizon in the west, as if to comment upon why the drums were sounding (rutu) already at the 16th month Pax. The woman drummer has only 1 visible limb, a left leg, but maybe it is not her own leg but the missing leg of Sun (360 - 300 = 60):
 |
 |
 |
16 Pax |
17 Kayab |
18 Cumhu |
60 days |
 |
19 Vayeb (365) |
The Bay of Turtles, Hanga Hoonu, could be a name for a 17th month. The number of the 18th son of Tu was 17 and his name Rauru we now can immediately understand as Ra-uru, i.e. Sun is here only an image, no longer present in person. Like the injured Kuukuu he has drawn back into a cave with his broken spine. Outside the cave are standing 6 images of stone, maybe each one with a value of 10 days.
Earlier
and at
the
end
of
the
14th
son,
Maroro,
the
number
is
280
and
in
the
Mayan
calendar
this
is
Kankin:
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
1 Pop |
2 Uo |
3 Zip |
4 Zotz |
5 Tzek (100) |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
6 Xul |
7 Yaxkin |
8 Mol (160) |
9 Ch'en |
10 Yax (200) |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
11 Sac |
12 Ceh |
13 Mac (260) |
14 Kankin |
15 Moan (300) |
The rain clouds - cfr the 6
'droplets'
hanging above for 80
days beyond
summer solstice
- have gone
away with Mac. Sun is
once again
shining and
everything is
drying up (he
maro). But
only for a short
while before he
will go down in
the west. Mac
ends
with
day
number
260
which
is
like
a
'compromise'
between
Mol
and
Cumhu:
8 |
Mol |
160 = 60 + 100 |
13 |
Mac |
260 = 60 + 200 |
18 |
Cumhu |
360 = 60 + 300 |
It is similar to how 364 is like a compromise between 280 and 392, which should make us rethink. Maybe day number 364 (like day number 260) once was regarded as the time of autumn equinox.
