1.The next star in line is Caph and then follows Cih. As both stars belong in the Cassiopeia constellation I think we should look at them together.

Cassiopeia, we remember, was the Ethiopean (black) queen who is depicted upside down sitting on a chair:

In the well-known W outline of Cassiopeia the star Caph is at the beginning of the right-arm-rest and Cih where it turns into a curve sign:

Schedir (α) is at her left breast (or higher up on her chest according to Flamsteed) and Ruchbah (δ) at her knee. Achird is at her stomach (or according to Flamsteed at her left breast).
