Once again. When Sirrah (α Andromedae) rose with the Sun in rongorongo times this defined the place for 0h (March 21, the Gregorian equinox). Since Roman times 0h had moved 27 days earlier in the year and the corresponding place among the stars had therefore advanced with 27 days, to day number 80 (March 21) + 27 = 107 (April 17):

JAN 15 (*300) 16 (= 80 - 64) 25 FEBR 11 12
Gb6-25 (229 + 178) Gb6-26 (408) Gb7-24 Gb7-25
March 20 (79) SIRRAH POLARIS April 17 (107)

... Ecclesiastically, the equinox is reckoned to be on 21 March (even though the equinox occurs, astronomically speaking, on 20 March in most years) ...

Gb7-24 (where 72 * 4 = 288) is a type of glyph which I once decided to name moai and this together with vaha mea (red dawn spring opening) in Gb7-25 (where 72 * 5 = 360) formed a pair. We can conclude they were meant to represent the First Point of Aries at the time of Julius Caesar. Because a similar pair marked where Aldebaran rose at 0h at the time of Hyadum II:

FEBR 11 (42) 12 (408) 39 MARCH 24 25 (84)

May 27 can be written as 5-27, and then we can count 52 * 7 = 364 (days). There were 52 weeks in this type of year, a year which had day 365 outside the regular calendar. Similarly, 4 * 16 (at Polaris) = 64, alluding to the precessional depth down to Aldebaran (at the time when Gregory XIII created his calendar).

52 * 7 364
4 * 16 64

At the time of rongorongo the Sun reached Alchita (Raven), the leading star (α) in Corvus, at the time when Sirrah (the Navel of the Horse, α Andromedae) was close to the Full Moon.

And 36 days after the September equinox was the place for heliacal Toliman (α Centauri) - the well known star closest to our own Sun.

At the time of Hyadum II the Full Moon date would have been FEBRUARY 23 (54) and in Roman times day 54 (= 2 * 27) was known as Terminalia.

... The leap day was introduced as part of the Julian reform. The day following the Terminalia (February 23) was doubled, forming the 'bis sextum - literally 'double sixth', since February 24 was 'the sixth day before the Kalends of March' using Roman inclusive counting (March 1 was the 'first day') ...

The pair of stars which I have named Head of the Fly (35 Arietis) respectively Right Wing (39 Arietis) occupied positions corresponding to the 'double sixth' (bis sextum) days - as would have been observed close to the Full Moon at the time when Hyadum II was at 0h.

... Later on in this series of rituals, the Chorti go through a ceremony they call raising the sky. This ritual takes place at midnight on the twenty-fifth of April and continues each night until the rains arrive. In this ceremony two diviners and their wives sit on benches so that they occupy the corner positions of the cosmic square. They take their seats in the same order as the stones were placed, with the men on the eastern side and the women on the west. The ritual actions of sitting down and lifting upward are done with great precision and care, because they are directly related to the actions done by the gods at Creation. The people represent the gods of the four corners and the clouds that cover the earth. As they rise from their seats, they metaphorically lift the sky. If their lifting motion is uneven, the rains will be irregular and harmful ...

Noteworthy is the fact that Musca Borealis was looking back in time - a sign which probably meant this was the end (terminal) station:

The Head of the Fly came before her Right Wing and Bharani corresponded to her Left Wing.
