We need to correlate
the C text with the G text. The 4
days of the Head of Ku were on the G
tablet placed
not where side b was beginning but
99 days from its beginning:

Probably Gb4-13 should be read as 413 = 14 *
29½, for instance alluding to (or even referring to) the day number for FEBRUARY 17.
Counting by the Moon instead of according to the Sun -
which would come natural for a people living in or close to
the tropical belt - the primary cardinal points should not be
at the
solstices.
Instead of contemplating the points of death at the
extremes of the year a more balanced world view should be
used, a world view adapted to the central home of us living
creatures, where births and deaths happen all the time.
472 (= 16 * 29½) - 365 = 107 (April 17) - cfr
Gb4-8 - could
be alluded to at Gb4-17 (where 4-17 could express the date April
17). Here there is a hipu
(fresh water container). At the time of Bharani (the place
for birth) this was day 360 after 0h. In the corresponding C
glyph a fist in front is raised high upwards towards the sky, meaning
nothing there has yet been counted - to be contrasted with the fresh water
not yet consumed, not yet gulped down.
At the opposite side of the year - in October
25 respectively in "September 14 (*177) - Fomalhaut (the
Mouth of the Southern Fish) had been culminating at
midnight. 177 (= 6 * 29½) + 183 = 360.
Precession had moved the Sun earlier and
earlier in the year and ca 91 * 71 =
6461 years after the beginning of
the great cycle of the asterisms
they would
have moved from their inital places
a quarter ahead. No longer did
Fomalhaut rise heliacally just after
the solstice, at the time of 'splashing water'
(hi'uwai).
... In the deep
night before the image [of Lono] is first seen, there
is a Makahiki ceremony called 'splashing-water' (hi'uwai). Kepelino
tells of sacred chiefs being carried to the water where the
people in their finery are bathing; in the excitement
created by the beauty of their attire, 'one person was
attracted to another, and the result', says this convert to
Catholicism, 'was by no means good'. At dawn, when the
people emerged from their amorous sport, there standing on
the beach was the image of Lono. White tapa
cloth and skins of the ka'upu bird hang from the
horizontal bar of the tall crosspiece image. The ka'upu
is almost certainly the albatross, a migratory bird that
appears in the western Hawaiian chain - the white Lanyon
albatross at Ni'ihau Island - to breed and lay eggs
in October-November, or the beginning of the Makahiki
season ...

At the time of Bharani the Sun Eagle,
represented by Altair (α
Aquilae), would have culminated at midnight at the π date
"July 22 (written as 22 / 7). This we can compare with
Rei in Ga4-17 (100). Glyph 100
corresponded to right ascension day *100 at the time of the
Bull. At the other side of the year the Sun had reached
Fomalhaut. 363 (DECEMBER 29) was 183 (= 366 / 2) days later
than JUNE 29 (180).
'The flood that ended the last
Creation' could have come 64
precessional days before the time of
rongorongo. 91 - 64 = 27 and in
Roman times the Sun would have
reached Fomalhaut in 'February 4
(400 = 35 + 365). However, the accumulated
evidence points rather at the time of
Bharani as the place of origin:
