4. The wave crests of time have Sun in front and Saturn at left. In the wave troughs we find Mercury (his liquid character makes it a natural choice). In a month night number 26 is connected with Sun. Using the 7-day cycle he must then be connected also with nights number 5, 12, and 19. His first appearance in the month is as number 5 and his last is as number 26. Number 26 for Sun can be deduced from his apex halfway through to the last day of the year: 7 * 26 = 182. From this it is easy to connect each natural number with a planet:
I have coloured to make it easier to read this number chart. Red for Sun is an easy choice, likewise black for the preceding Saturn. From this chart it follows that Sun is not the first in the order, instead it is Mercury. Time does not begin on a wave crest but down in the 'water'. And the 29th dark night of Moon is once again connectwed with a wave trough. Sun cannot have number 1, because then he would also have number 29. It would be impossible because his 'fire' is extinguished only after having reached 53 (= 2 * 26 + 1), a day of Saturn. ... When it was evident that the years lay ready to burst into life, everyone took hold of them, so that once more would start forth - once again - another (period of) fifty-two years. Then (the two cycles) might proceed to reach one hundred and four years. It was called 'One Age' when twice they had made the round, when twice the times of binding the years had come together ...
