4. My early impression of these 16 glyphs representing not the summer half of the year but winter still remains intact. Instead of the midwinter type of Rogo it looks as if he is down in the water, with waves in his hair. His hand is empty and as an elbow ornament he has a single 'leg' hanging down:

And the 'Trees' look like the black clubs in a deck of cards:

Maybe they depict kelp, with the 'cherries' equal to the gas filled floats which keeps the kelp close to the surface of the sea (in order to capture sunlight for the photosynthesis):
