Uncertainty regarding the number of glyphs hovers over all lines excepting Ra2 and Rb6:

a1 *30 30 b1 *17 17
a2 24 54 b2 *24 41
a3 *30 84 b3 *21 62
a4 *26 110 b4 *23 85
a5 *30 140 b5 *26 111
a6 *29 169 b6 33 144
a7 *31 200 b7 *29 173
a8 *26 226 b8 *21 194
sum *226 b9 ca 30 ca 224
  sum ca 224

My attempt at reconstruction resulted in 226 glyphs on side a and ca 224 on side b, altogether around 450 glyphs. This total could possibly be understood as 3 times 150 or 3 half cycles, in analogy with 471 = 3 * 157 and 942 = 3 * 314.

At toki was mentioned that the Chinese had an important time cycle of 1½ years. If we count with 364 as the basic unit of time for Sun, then 364 * 150% = 546 could be a relevant number (corresponding to 300 * 150% = 450), and 546 (counted from Ea1-1 is the number of Eb6-36 (where 6 * 36 = 216):

Eb6-31 Eb6-32 Eb6-33 Eb6-34
Eb6-35 Eb6-36 (546) Eb7-1 Eb7-2 (548)

Maybe the first 2 glyphs in next line (Eb7) are intended to illustrate the time of the 'egg'. 548 = 365⅓ * 150%. The egg form is at bottom in both glyphs, implying the beginning of 'life', I think.

Although there once could have been room for 9 glyph lines also on side a of R I believe the creator adjusted his text as good as he could to the physical restraints of the tablet. The number of glyph spaces certainly must be relevant and 'missing' glyphs are also to be considered as signs.
