There are 2 * 180 = 360 glyphs arranged symmetrically around puo in Gb8-30, and the rest of the glyphs (8 * 14 = 112) are beginning with tamaiti in Ga7-11:

178 178
Gb3-1 (292) Gb8-30 (472) Gb8-30 (1) Ga7-10 (180)
360 = 20 * 18 (= 8 * 45)
109
Ga7-11 (181) Gb2-34 (290) Gb2-35
112 = 8 * 14

Neither 180 nor 112 are multiples of 29.5 and the basically 16 * 29.5 long text of G has additional structures. 180 is a number referring to the path of Sun, while 14 (= 18 - 4)  could refer to Waxing Moon. Sun has only 1 'limb' and Waxing Moon is only one of the 2 'limbs' of Moon.

8 * 59 is a measure for the whole G text, but not of any use when counting to 360 (= 8 * 45) or to 112 (= 8 * 14). The whole G text consists of 2 halves, and each half has 180 + 56 = 236 = 4 * 59 glyphs. Tamaiti (the little child) in Gb7-3 is where the whole text cycle is beginning, and it is located on the back side of the tablet:

58 176 58 176
Gb7-3 (414) Ga7-7 Gb1-6 Gb7-2 (413)
59 177 = 3 * 59 59 177 = 3 * 59

Using the same idea for explaining the 8 + 8 'feathers' around hakaua in Gb3-10 we will find a fully grown man (tagata in Gb5-6):

176 58 176 58
Gb5-7 (361) Ga5-13 (124) Gb3-10 (301) Gb5-6 (360)
177 = 3 * 59 59 177 = 3 * 59 59

Possibly the G text can be regarded either from the little child forwards or backwards from tagata. In the latter case there are 2 'children' (Gb5-7) at the other end, and only the left one seems to be 'real' while the one in front is 'fictional' (has an open outline). But as these 'twins' are interconnected also the left one must be non-real. They illustrate a single 'person' and presumably they represent the two halves of the year.

This explanation of the structure of the G text does not exclude other interpretations. For instance, we can count each 'feather' in hakaua (Gb3-10) as 14 days. If we count forward 8 * 14 = 112 days we will end up at the end of the Moon cycle. And in the other direction we can count 301 - 111 = 190:

99 8 111
Ga7-20 (190) Ga7-21 Ga7-22 Gb3-1 Gb3-10 Gb7-2 (413)
112 = 8 * 14 112 = 8 * 14

We can now guess why glyph number 413 (hau tea with 'Janus eyes', Gb7-2) was located as number 2 in line 7. First of all it spells out 72 = 4 * 18 (i.e. a measure of Sun). Secondly, it connects Gb7-2 with Ga7-20 where we also find 72. Moreover, the basic measure used in counting the distance between them is 14 (= 7 * 2), i.e. a fortnight. The distance is 16 fortnights, quite in harmony with the total text length 16 months.

472 - 16 * 14 = 248 = 8 * 31, which maybe can be understood to mean that the front side measures 248 and the back side 224.

The single person in Ga7-20 has a fully drawn perimeter, he is no 'ghost'. Maybe he is holding his left hand high to illustrate Moon. The 'fictional twins' in Gb5-7 are holding Sun signs high. In Ga7-20 the jaw is formed like a lesser 'ball', forming a pair with the great fist in front.
