Experience tells us we should have kiore+henua glyphs in last position, and my first move to 'improve' the structure of calendar II is based on this knowledge:
I have also observed signs of 'ending in nothing' (Yc2-1 and Yc3-8) respectively 'beginning from nothing' (Yc2-2). Vaha kai in Yc1-3 is reversed (compared with for instance vaha kai in Gb5-10), and then follows 4 rising fishes. They have inverted henua ora signs up front, which confirms my interpretation of reversed vaha kai as meaning 'birth'. Yc3-1 is the first glyph on side d of the snuff box, but I have relabelled the line on side d to be line Yc3 (instead of Yd1). I do not regard the 8 glyphs on side d as a separate calendar. |
