By changing the perspective slightly we can equally well see a pattern with 140 (twice 70) glyphs centrally located:
230 is here perceived as the sum of 90 and 140, which numbers can be regarded as a quarter of 360 days respectively a quarter of a 'grand double month' with twice 280 days. I.e., 140 is equal to 10 * 14 and a fortnight is the structural equivalent of 90 days. There are 4 times 90 in 360 and 4 times 14 in 56. A week has 7 nights and there are 8 weeks in 2 months, if we count them as 28 nights (those nights when moon is shining). There are 8 periods of 45 days in 2 halfyears, if we count them as 180 days. |
