The first two could, perhaps, represent the double-canoe which should arrive beyond winter solstice. But the 4 on side b are different, which can be seen for instance in the top point which is bent a little to the left. They are also carved stronger, another sign (maybe intended to suggest darkness, as inside a hare paega). Ordinal number 22 could refer to 22 / 7 = 3.14 and 25 is equal to 5 * 5. Ga1-22 and Ga1-25 are vertically assymmetric, with wider bottom ends, as if to suggest growth (from bottom upwards). |
