According to my glyph catalogue the G text has 3 kava glyphs, the first of which looks like a mixture between the rima and kava glyph types:
The general outline of a kava glyph is similar to an arm (rima):
Gb5-25 (and the other two kava glyphs) are located in the 4th and last quarter of the year:
The extra 'eye' in Gb5-25 compared to Ca10-10 (etc) connects to the top part in Gb6-3 where two 'eyes' are balancing each other, one in the past (left) and one in the future (right). It has been confirmed by counting that the 3 kava glyphs belong together: ... 5 * 25 = 125, 6 * 3 = 18, and 7 * 31 = 217. Adding these numbers we find that they probably belong together: 125 + 18 + 217 = 260 = 10 * 26 ... The two 'eyes' probably is a sign of tagata - a fully grown season. In Gb1-7 the sign is used to 'topple' the sun (at the height of summer):
In Gb1-7 the 'fall' of the 1st half of the year is illustrated, in Gb6-3 the end of the 2nd half year is stretching obliquely upwards. The ordinal number is 360 (notice how 6-3 is mirrored in to 360) counted from Ga1-26, which confirms arrival at the dark zenith. 7 'feathers' at left (past, moon, the fully grown 2nd half of the year) and 6 'feathers' at right (future, sun, the coming 1st half of the new year) illuminate the situation. |
