Two glyphs at the beginning of side a of the Tahua text are worthy of mentioning:

Aa1-1 Aa1-2 Aa1-3 Aa1-4
Aa1-5 Aa1-6 Aa1-7 Aa1-8
Aa1-9 Aa1-10 Aa1-11 Aa1-12

The subject is the year, with Aa1-3--4 probably located at winter solstice. It is reasonable to raise sky pillars when the sky stands still. The new 'house' which will be ready half a year later (at Ko Koró) needs two 'house posts'. Personified ragi figures are running to set the sky in motion again.

H, P and Q glyphs in parallel with Aa1-4 tell us that a season of the sun is defined here (ordinal numbers 28, 10 respectively 18).
