Solstices and
equinoxes are located at points which do not coincide with the
points where the major calendar periods change. In our own calendar,
for example, new year arrives later than winter solstice, spring
equinox before the 1st of April, summer solstice before the 1st of
July and autumn equinox before the 1st of October. |
