Ba6.1
If the intention of the creator of the B text was to place Vega
(*281 = *74 + *207) at the last glyph on line Ba5, we could expect some sign of
'opening' (vaha) at the beginning of line Ba6. Because
such a pattern we have perceived from
how Polaris was followed in the next day by Sheratan etc:

North of the equator the vaha mea (red opening) type of
glyph in the G text was marking both the current April 17 (107) and
the corresponding right ascension day according to the era of Bharani
("April 17, 107). The number of glyphs on the G tablet is 471 = 365 + 107
= 1½ * 314.
Returning, therefore, to the final glyphs in line Ba5 we should
document facts together with some observations and ideas

... Midsummer is the flowering
season of the oak, which is the
tree of endurance and triumph,
and like the ash is said to
'court the lightning flash'. Its
roots are believed to extend as
deep underground as its branches
rise in the air - Virgil
mentions this - which makes it
emblematic of a god whose law
runs both in Heaven and in the
Underworld ... The month, which
takes its name from Juppiter the
oak-god, begins on June 10th and
ends of July 7th. Midway comes
St. John's Day, June 24th, the
day on which the oak-king was
sacrificially burned alive. The
Celtic year was divided into two
halves with the second half
beginning in July, apparently
after a seven-day wake, or
funeral feast, in the oak-king's
honour ... |

Mgv.: etua, god, deity,
divinity; to be wicked, to be

comprehensiveness of the

found in the Maori, is a
question of orthodoxy, merely a
matter of the point of view. Of
far more moment in our studies
is the vowel variety of the
initial syllable. Atua:
Maori, Mangaia, Tahiti, Hawaii,
Tongareva, Rapanui, Paumotu,
Samoa, Futuna, Uvea, Niuē,
Aniwa. Etua: Marquesas,
